We are pleased to report that the group of farmers who visited our site on 26th June, as part of a tour organised by our parent company, the Irish Dairy Board, were very impressed with what they saw.

The tour was organised to raise awareness of the value of the IDB’s UK activities amongst the influential group of farmers who ultimately own the member co-op’s.

The group visited various IDB owned companies within the UK and members were impressed by the scale, diversity and quality of the operations including the Kerrygold site.

Following the visit, the Secretary of the IDB confirmed that the visit had “More than achieved all of its objectives from the point of view of the farmers and also the IDB”.
