The new build project is progressing well and, despite the
delay in some activities such as roofing and external and internal
painting due to poor weather conditions, the contractors still
report a completion date of 21st July 2008.
Once the building is
handed over to Kerrygold it is anticipated that there will be a
three month period during which equipment transfer will take place.
As you will have seen, the external aspects of the build are really taking shape
with the current glazing of the main offices (shown in the photo
above), the fitting of air handling units within the roof space,
further drainage work and the ground works around the loading docks.

Internally,
the contractors are laying concrete floor slabs within
the reception and ground floor amenities area (i.e. offices,
meeting rooms, locker rooms, toilets and canteen), ceilings
are being fitted within the Bulk Cheese Store and the installation
of plant and services continues with the fitting of pipe-work
and cable containment.
