In response to our current competition, we have received
some useful and interesting ideas from you to help us make Kerrygold
a cleaner, greener place to work.
Here are the top runners so far:
To reduce the use of paper, Pam Adams (Materials Planner) suggests
printing all out purchase orders onto photocopied letterheads to
be faxed through to suppliers. This will reduce printing costs
and the weight of paper used!
Recycled products help us to sustain the environment we live in.
Emily Meakin (Procurement Administrator) has suggested that we
source all our stationary from recycled product catalogues. In
fact, we have already started using recycled envelopes!

An
anonymous possible green champion has suggested cutting
down on our carbon footprints individually. Gordon Walsh
(National Accounts Manager) has suggested various methods
of recycling and Gary Fergusson (Manufacturing Shift
Trainer) has promoted a ‘Ride 2 Work’ scheme.
What can you think of to help reduce our carbon footprint?
Let us know by writing it down and handing it to Clair
Lawton in Human Resources. The competition runs until
18th May.
