
The ILM (Institute of Leadership & Management) students
presented their final projects on Wednesday 25th April 2007. The
presentations mark the end of the 18 month course during which
first line managers have attended a total of 10 workshops covering
a range of different management topics.
Each student had to compile a final project based on an actual
work-based challenge, the topics covered were:
Owen Teare: Integration of Processed Cheese Staff
into the Natural Cheese Dept.
Sue Myers: Continuous
improvement on Line 17.
Darren Armstrong: Shift handovers: Reducing
unproductive time to a minimum
Emma Kusznierski: Speeding up production changeovers
on Line 1.
Chris Flint: Continuous improvement on Line 6.
Paul Buckley: Examine
the Viability of a maintenance package.
Mick Redfern: Continuous improvement on Line 19.
Paul Lakin: Workplace procedures from inception to delivery.

Unfortunately, due to holiday, Wayne Bailey was unable to
present his project on “Improving the safe
and hygienic opening of packages” - but don’t
worry Wayne we’ll arrange something for you!!.

We would like to congratulate all of the students
on their excellent presentations and thank all
of those managers and mentors who supported them
throughout the course.
