Shirley joined the Company when we were Adams Foods back in 1974. Having worked with us for 32 years, she has decided to call it a day and retired at the end of March.

She first worked on the innovative snack pack line before moving to the Cryovac line, where she worked with her daughter, Tracy, for a while before the move to Barnfields in 1989. Shirley’s son, Ian, has also spent some time with the Company.

Shirley is the proud grandmother to five doting grandchildren and is looking forward to spending the first three weeks of her retirement in Tunisia with her husband, Eric.

In recent years Shirley has looked after our Company Shop and has agreed to come back one day a week to carry on her shop keeping duties, ahead of changes when we move into the new factory.
