Congratulations to Don Salt and Arthur Rowlands who have
just completed their TUC Union Reps Stage 2 Course.
Karen Lewis, GMB Regional Organiser, came to Kerrygold to present
their certificates.
The course took them away to Crewe for one day a week over ten
weeks and means they have become fully qualified union reps.
They
have just concluded successful pay negotiations and believe the
training collective bargaining has proved particularly useful.
The union ballot on the proposed pay deal was accepted first time
round!

John Taylor; a Zone Controller, has responded to a request
for volunteers to become Kerrygold's latest GMB Union
Rep.
 He will begin to earn his qualification earlyin the
New Year and he looks forward to 'Making a real difference
on the shop floor.'
John, who has worked at Kerrygold for six years,
is a keen Stoke City supporter when not playing footie! |
