
Throughout the year we have been constantly on the look-out
for Production Operatives who can be trained and developed as Machine
Operators or Zone Controllers.
Our 2006 recruitment campaigns have proved very successful with
candidates arriving by a variety of sources. Externally, these
have included direct advertisements, ‘recommend a friend’ and
word of mouth. Internally, candidates have been attained by the
permanent recruitment of associate workers.
Business Growth
New business from Tesco, together with a range of new grated products
due to hit stores by the end of October, has increased our need
for further additional staff.
A recruitment campaign was launched on 13th September
with an advert appearing in The Sentinel and on websites including
our own recruitment website:

This business growth is exciting news for us all.
A check on current staffing levels reveals that we have achieved
a 20% growth year on year.
Patience
However, our success has put some extra pressure on other
resources, meaning that we will soon be starting work on
extending our existing car parking facilities. We also have
plans in place to provide extra lockers which will be accommodated
in a temporary portakabin.
