Kerrygold has been honoured with a National Training Award,
the UK’s most prestigious accolade for excellence in training
and people development.
This recognises that our achievements as a company have been acknowledged
nationally and have been selected from amongst the best in the UK.
We entered the awards in conjunction with Tim Hancox of Ockbrook
Training (who helped in the design and delivery of our internal
management development programme) because we are proud of what our
employees have achieved through learning and development.
We also wanted to congratulate all of those who worked so hard in
our programme of change. Primarily the award is in recognition of
the company’s internal training of team leaders and managers
(the NEBs / ILM courses) but also other initiatives such as basic
skills training, EBus provision, Investors in People and improvements
to internal communications.

The
award was presented by Sharron Davies MBE at a regional ceremony
held in the International Convention Centre in Birmingham
last October and is further evidence that the company really
does ‘invest in its people’.
