In September of this year Kerrygold (and Adams Foods Group) Managing Director, Noel Coakley, was appointed as the new Chief Executive of our parent company, the Irish Dairy Board.

Noel joined the IDB in 1983, becoming responsible for the Adams Foods Group in January 1992. He has been based at The Kerrygold Company ever since. He takes over from the retiring CEO in early 2006.

Announcing the appointment, Mr Michael Cronin, Chairman of the IDB, said “I welcome the appointment of Mr Noel Coakley to this critical position. Noel Coakley has an impressive business track record coupled with significant international experience and as a key executive has made a major contribution to the Irish Dairy Board over the last number of years”.
