Kerrygold were pleased to accommodate a request for the
Deputy Prime Minister, John Prescott to pay a visit to our premises
on the afternoon of Wednesday 20th April.
Mr Prescott was in the area to offer support to Charlotte Atkins
and was keen to visit our site as an example of a thriving local
business.
Following his arrival in his ‘battle bus’, Mr Prescott
met with a number of local journalists and with Kerrygold managers
to answer questions regarding the current employment market.
He then went on to tour our production area where a number of employees
enjoyed the opportunity of speaking to him and explaining more about
their roles within the Company.

to learn more about the type of work Gwyneth carries out at
Kerrygold, how long she had worked for the Company and whether
she enjoyed her work.
